History:One of my college buddies who went by DJ Paradigm in those days shared an interest in producing electronic music. After witnessing the success of Darius, Surok, and me, he also began toying with various sequencing programs. Ultimately, Paradigm would bring his DJ sensibilities and fondness for progressive trance to the table, and was eager to collaborate.At first, he and I formed a band called Paradox Effect, and worked tirelessly on a number of songs that we never seemed to be able to finish. After much frustration, we attempted to bring in my longtime cohort, Darius Jackson. For a brief nanosecond, the three of us decided we would be one band, and we named it Zero Point Energy. However, as quickly as the trio was formed, it fell apart, mostly due to the logistical nightmare of bringing the three of us together often enough to work, since we each lived in a separate corner of Florida (I was in Orlando, Darius was in Tampa, and Paradigm was in Fort Lauderdale). But Paradigm and I continued to collaborate under the name Zero Point Energy, and we had grand visions of what we could accomplish. Unfortunately, as we were coming close to finishing an electronic symphony in four movements called simply "The Spiritual Symphony," I moved much farther away in pursuit of a woman. As a result, Zero Point Energy is by all accounts dissolved, so while none of the songs listed below are likely to ever be considered complete, they are nonetheless worth listening to. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
