Salutations and welcome to e. magill's Enlightenment!

If you're here, you probably already know who e. magill is, but in case you're just some random surfer riding the waves of the information superhighway or an Internet conduit attempting to soak up the collective unconscious of Cyberspace, let me elucidate you as to my existence. I am primarily known as a science fiction novelist--though I am not yet published--but I am also a musician, poet, blogger, family man, and amateur Photoshop artist. I am also a member of the Maryland Writer's Association, a video game junkie, and many other things. But, all in all, I'm just another guy, carving out a tiny piece of the Internet to call my own.

Now that the introductions are out of the way, I encourage you to look around my site. If you're interested in hearing about my novels, go to the NOVEL CONCEPTS page, and if you're an agent or publisher I directed here, know that my novels rock, and I would be happy to send you sample chapters or complete manuscripts for your perusal. Also know that I think your agency or company is definitely one of my favorites.

If you want to get a feel for my writing, however, know that you won't find my manuscripts online (I do not believe in Internet publishing). Still, I do have a handful of short stories here--on my TALES page--though most of them were written many years ago and do not accurately reflect the current state of my writing ability. I don't write short fiction anymore, but if I were to (hypothetically), this is where I'd publish it for now.

If you're interested in getting to know me and my opinions on everything from the state of wheat bread in today's market to how much last week's episode of Lost rocked my world, check out my weblog at the INTRIGUE page.

If you're a long lost fan of Duality or Brian's Front Porch or are otherwise interested in hearing the music I used to make at home and with various bands during my wild youth, go to the HARMONIES page and follow the links to some free mp3 files!

Otherwise, you can check out the various other things I offer, like my poetry and artwork, by going back to the MAIN PAGE and exploring the rest of the links. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you stick around. If you'd like to contact me, leave a comment with your e-mail address--using "(at)" instead of "@" if you're afraid of spiders--and I swear I'll do my best to get back to you, assuming you're not canned spam.
